Chamber Announces Menu for Tastes of Greater Hazleton Event Happening Sunday, October 13th

The Community Awareness Committee of the Greater Hazleton of Commerce invites the public to attend the 12^th Annual Tastes of Greater Hazleton, which will be held this Sunday, October 13^th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at a new location for 2019, the Laurel Mall in Hazleton.

The event will feature a sampling of signature dishes and products restaurants and businesses from throughout Greater Hazleton. Restaurants and their menus include: Alta Pizzeria & Pasta house offering penne vodka; Benigna’s Creek Winery offering wine tastings; Brass Buckle restaurant offering alligator tacos; Frankie’s Pizzeria offering New England clam chowder; Four Blooms Restaurant offering ahi tuna won ton, meatballs in sauce and Godiva chocolate mousse; Giant Food Stores offering crabcakes; Honey Hole Winery offering wine tastings; Keystone Job Corps Center offering hearty chicken casserole, acorn squash with maple bacon drizzle and pumpkin bread; Providence Place Drums offering roasted butternut and apple bisque and mini tiramisu cups; Restaurant at Boscovs offering halupki soup; Rostas Café offering antipasto salad; T. Verrastro Beer Distirbutors offering a variety of fall flavored beers, adult beverages and non alcoholic drinks; The Pines Eatery & Spirits offering grog and a crispy treat; Top of the 80’s Restaurant offering pumpkin bisque w/ cinnamon sugar croutons & creme fraiche, sriracha steak bites and homemade chocolate oatmeal cake; and the Valley Country Club offering a caprese on a golf tee.

Chamber Mixer at Heritage Hill Senior Community Invites Hazleton & Carbon Chamber Members

Heritage Hill Senior Community is hosting a special and unique networking mixer and inviting Chamber Members from the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce and the Carbon County Chamber of Commerce. The event is taking place on Wednesday, October 9th from 5 pm to 7 pm. Heritage Hill Senior Community is located at 800 Sixth Street in Weatherly. Members may invite their employees, co-workers and guests to this free event, which offers a casual, after-hours networking opportunity for both business communities.

Anniversary Celebration Being Held for Long-Time Members of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is kicking off October as Chamber of Commerce Month, and in doing so, they are holding an event to recognize several long-standing members who are celebrating a special anniversary with the organization in 2019. The 5TH Annual Anniversary Membership Celebration will take place on Thursday, October 3rd. In addition to the businesses being recognized, as well as their employees, the entire Chamber membership is invited to attend. During this mixer-style event, each business will be recognized during a brief program and will also receive a gift from the Chamber. Everyone will enjoy complimentary hors d' oeuvres and beverages.

Chamber Announces 12th Annual Tastes of Greater Hazleton Event Slated for October 13th

The Community Awareness Committee of the Greater Hazleton of Commerce announces the 12th Annual Tastes of Greater Hazleton. The event will feature a sampling of signature dishes and products from sixteen restaurants and businesses from throughout Greater Hazleton.

It is open to the public and will take place on Sunday, October 13th from 12:00 noon to 3:00 pm at the Laurel Mall, located on Route 93, 106 Laurel Mall Drive, in Hazle Township. According to Anna Jean Onuschak, committee and event chair, “This has been an extremely popular event since its inception, so we really encourage folks to purchase their tickets in advance.”
