The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee created a brand new free monthly series for 2021 that is free for all young women, called “You Go Girl” Series: Life Skills for Young Women. This month’s session takes place this Thursday, June 24^th at 3:30 pm and the topic is Mindfulness & Meditation.

“The ‘You Go Girl’ series resulted from a committee discussion on how professional women can share their experiences with younger women in our community in order to help them develop important life skills”, explains Kim McNulty, Chamber Women’s Networking Committee Chair.

The series takes place once a month and the schedule for the remainder of the year is as follows: Thursday, July 29th @ 3:30 pm, Women’s Health with Wendy Murphy, Hazle Drugs; Thursday, August 26th @ 3:30 pm, Interview Skills with Lori Kane, Hazleton Careerlink; Thursday, September 30th @ 3:30 pm, Cooking in the Kitchen Basics with Donna Barna, Billig-Helmes Insurance; Thursday, October 28th @ 3:30 pm, Creating a Vision with Cathy Colangelo, Partners in Education; Thursday, November 18th @ 3:30 pm, Knitting for Beginners with Carole Shearer, Penn State Hazleton; Thursday, December 30th @ 3:30 pm, Career Counseling/Choosing a Path with Kaity Krasucki, Penn State Hazleton.
