Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking Committee invites all women from throughout Greater Hazleton to a summer networking mixer on Thursday, June 28th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 pm at the Beech Mountain Lakes Clubhouse in Drums. Ladies are invited to enjoy a relaxing summer evening on the beautiful outdoor patio overlooking the lake.

The evening will include networking, complimentary hors d' oeuvres, a cash bar, a 50/50 raffle and doorprize drawings. Attendees are asked to bring along items that will help promote their business, such as, business cards, brochures and/or giveaways, which will be displayed on business resource tables throughout the event.

There is a $5.00 registration fee for Chamber members and a $7.00 registration fee for non Chamber members, which will be collected at the door. Proceeds will benefit the annual Women’s Empowerment Grant fund.

In other Women’s Networking Committee news, a luncheon program will be held on Tuesday, July 31st at the Valley Country Club. In addition, applications are currently being accepted for the annual Women’s Empowerment Grant. This grant is intended for women beginning their higher education, returning to college for an advanced degree, or taking additional courses to improve their workplace skills.
