Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking committee is currently seeking applications for the fifth annual Women’s Empowerment Grant. This grant is intended for women beginning their higher education, returning to college for an advanced degree or taking additional courses to improve their workplace skills.

Candidates must reside within the service area of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce. Applications and cover letters are due no later than July 31st with an anticipated August 31st notification. All applications will be scored on the following areas: Academic Information, Employment Information, Civic Involvement, Essay and Financial Need.

Applications are available at the Chamber office, download a copy from the Chamber’s website at www.hazletonchamber.org or you may attend any of the upcoming Women’s Networking events. The next women’s event is a Summer Networking Mixer scheduled for Thursday, June 28th from 5:30 pm to 7:30 on the outdoor patio overlooking the lake at Beech Mountain Lakes in Drums.
