|Chamber Seminar to Employee Files|
The Human Resource Committee of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce has scheduled a seminar on Employee Files for Wednesday, September 21st. This informal, interactive, seminar will review and discuss proper retention, storage and classification. HIPPA protection/ Non HIPPA protection will be covered as well as how to avoid a fine and be compliant.
This seminar is being presented by The Seltzer Group and will take place from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Chamber office, 20 W. Broad Street in Downtown Hazleton. Attendees are encouraged to bring their lunch. Beverages will be available. The cost is $10 for Chamber members and $15 for non Chamber members. This seminar is pending approval for 1.5 HRCI continuing education credits.
