| Chamber Re-Elects Lew Dryfoos, III as Chairman Welcomes New Directors and Officers |

Llewellyn Dryfoos, III was re-elected as Chairman of the Board of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of  Commerce at a reorganization meeting of the organization on Monday, April 11th. Atty. George Hludzik will serve as Immediate Past Chairman and Donna Palermo was re-elected as President of the organization. Joining Mr. Dryfoos and Ms. Palermo are new board members and officers who will begin their terms May 1st. Vice Chairs include:Angeline Yenchko, M&T Bank, Dominic Yannuzzi, Alfred Benesch & Co., Atty. Elizabeth Maguschak, McNees Wallace & Nurick, LLC, and Lonnie Polli, Earley-Polli Agency. Terry Malloy will serve as Treasurer and Allen Wagner, Wagner Whitaker & John LLC will serve as Secretary Elected to three year terms on the Board of Directors are: James Edwards, Greater Hazleton Health Alliance, Cathy Kurtz, Providence Place Retirement Community, Cynthia Yevich, Blue Cross of NE PA, Rev. Thomas Cvammen, Greater Hazleton Ministerial Association, and Jane Kanjock, Geisinger Health System. Other prominent business men and women currently serving on the Chamber board are; Molly Blasko, Blasko Candies, Gary Danish, Video by UVP, Barry Jais, WYLN TV, Terry H. Jones, Jones Kohanski & Co., PC, Scott Koch, UGI Utilities, Inc., Dr. Gary Lawler, Penn State Hazleton, Steven Peterson, CTC Manufacturing, Inc., John Scanlan, Eagle Rock Resort, William L. Spear, Hazle Drugs, Carla Thaller, Susquehanna Associates Management, Inc., Ross Valenti, Keystone Job Corps Center, and Joseph Yannuzzi, Mayor of Hazleton. Staff members, in addition to Ms. Palermo, include: Leann Fallabel, Vice President of Marketing, Daniel Guydish, Membership Director, Judiann McGrogran, Funfest Executive Director, Julie Ferry, Funfest Public Relations Coordinator/Executive Secretary, Linda Mantush, Marketing Assistant, and Nancy Zolota, Bookkeeper. The Chamber also houses three affiliates; Leadership Hazleton, Greater Hazleton Area Civic Partnership, and the Mountain Council of Governments. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is the area's oldest and largest business advocacy organization. Originally formed in 1892 as the Hazleton Board of Trade, the organization will celebrate its 119th year of service to the business community at its Annual Dinner at the Genetti Best Western Inn & Suite on May 19th. |
