|Free Webinar on How Employers Form a Safety Committee|
The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce is presenting a webinar on Monday, October 18th from 10 am to 11 am entitled How Employers Form a Safety Committee. The webinar is being presented by Safety Consultants of East Coast Risk Management and you will learn how to set up and implement a safety committee and get a 5% credit for your workers compensation program. The Pennsylvania State Certification requirements will be explained and reviewed.

After registering you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the webinar. System Requirements: PC-based attendees require Windows® 7, Vista, XP or 2003 Server and Macintosh®-based attendees require Mac OS® X 10.4.11 (Tiger®) or newer version.
Once your business has established a safety committee, the state requires that you receive annual training to maintain your workers compensation discount. The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce provides this annual training in the fall of each year. This year’s training is set for Tuesday, November 2nd from 8:45 to 12 noon.
