Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Women’s Networking committee will hold their 5th holiday mixer on Wednesday, December 9th. The mixer will take place at the Cyber Café, Downtown Hazleton, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Complimentary d’oeuvres and beverages will be provided courtesy of Cyber Café. There is a five dollar member fee and a seven dollar non-member fee to attend the mixer.  Proceeds benefit the Women’s Empowerment Grant Fund.

Winners of the 5th Annual Holiday Decorating Contest will be announced at the mixer. The contest is open to all chamber member businesses. Winners will be announced in the following categories: Judges Choice Award, Best Outdoor Decorations, Best Use of Decorating Space, Best Use of a Theme, Best Entry Way, Best Themed Tree, Best Use of Natural Materials, Most Inviting and Best Atmosphere.

The Judges Choice winner  (large business) will receive 25 tickets to attend one show taping of Jentastic Sweets hosted by Chef Jen Yemola and the show will be branded with the winner’s business name and logo. The Judges Choice winner (small business) will receive a free commercial production, valued at $450 and a $1,000 advertising package. Both prizes are courtesy of WYLN TV 35.
