| Chamber Members Participate in Annual Day of Cultural Sharing |

The Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce, through their partnership with Penn State Hazleton joined  business volunteers on Wednesday, October 7th with fifth grade classrooms for an hour of diversity activities and conversation in an effort to raise diversity awareness. The Annual Day of Cultural Sharing program was designed to engage the business community with the education community to make diversity a priority. This program sends a clear message that we, as a community, value and celebrate diversity.Two pre-event training sessions were held prior to the event held at the Chamber offices. Dwayne Hilton, Director of Student Enrollment  Services at Penn State Hazleton conducted the training along with Linda Mantush, Marketing Assistant for the Chamber, who also coordinated the business volunteers and worked extensively with the Hazleton Area School District and their teachers.
