SANTA AND MRS. CLAUS VISIT DOWNTOWN HAZLETON

Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive at The Markle Building.

Students from All That Dancin’ perform at the “Welcome Santa” event coordinated by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce.
Over 100 Hazleton Area youngsters took advantage of free Polaroid photos with Santa and Mrs. Claus Saturday, December 1st, in Downtown Hazleton. The event took place in the lobby of Citiscape located in The Markle Building.
The Downtown Committee of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce planned for Santa and Mrs. Claus to pose for free pictures with the youngsters. The festivities began at the Diamond Fire Company, where Santa, Mrs. Claus and children boarded a fire truck from the Diamond Fire Company, accompanied by ambulances from APTS.
Through the cooperation of the downtown committee members, free Polaroid photos with Santa, fruit roll-ups from General Mills, cookies from Weis Markets, and soft drinks from Farmer’s Dairy were provided to those youngsters in attendance.
Prior to Santa and Mrs. Claus’ arrival, guests were provided with entertainment from Sherri O’Donnell’s All That Dancin’. The students, as young as three years old, performed holiday dance and songs for the large crowd.
