CHAMBER TO CONDUCT DOWNTOWN HOLIDAY MIXER

The Hazleton Area business community and chamber members and guests, are invited to take part in the annual Greater Hazleton Business Person’s Holiday Mixer, which will take place at Vesuvio’s Restaurant, 101 N. Wyoming Street, Downtown Hazleton on Thursday, December 6^th.

The mixer, coordinated by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with the Downtown Promotions Committee, will provide a unique opportunity to share holiday spirit with friends, neighbors and colleagues from the local business community. Over one hundred persons took part in last year’s Holiday Mixer, and additional reservations are expected this year. Donna Palermo, President of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce and Bill Spear Jr, Chairman of the Chamber and its Downtown Committee have issued an open invitation to any member of the downtown business community and any chamber members and guests to take part in this year’s open house.

The mixer will feature non-alcoholic beverages and heavy hors d’oeuvres prepared by Vesuvio’s Restaurant, a chamber member business. The activities will begin at 4:30 PM and conclude at  6:00 PM. The mixer will be followed immediately by the annual CAN DO Christmas Celebration, which will take place at the J.J. Philharmonic Center beginning at 6:00 p.m.

There is a $12.00 fee for the Mixer. Proceeds from the mixer will go toward downtown improvement activities of the Chamber Downtown Committee. Reservations can be made by contacting the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce at 455-1509 by Tuesday, December 4^th.
