Greater Hazleton Senior Services Inc. Receives Downtown Pride Award from Chamber

The Greater Hazleton Senior Center, located at 24 E. Broad Street, Downtown Hazleton, recently received the “Downtown Pride” award from the Downtown Committee of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce for the month of August.
The award, initiated to help address the issue of cleanliness in the Downtown area, was the sixth such award presented by the committee. The award was initiated to recognize the efforts of individual businesses that set an example of pride in conducting a business in the Downtown area.
William L. Spear, chairman of the Chamber’s Downtown Committee states, “We are recognizing the Greater Hazleton Senior Services Inc. for paying special attention to the cleanliness surrounding their business. They set a great example for other businesses in addressing the cleanliness of the Downtown area.”
