CHAMBER/ MALL EXPO TO FEATURE LOCAL FIRMS
Hazleton Area business firms will be showcasing their wares in the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce Trade and Business Exposition this Saturday, August 11th.
The Trade Show is conducted to provide local businesses with an opportunity to reach thousands of potential new customers as the Mall gears up for the busiest shopping season of the year. Open to businesses from throughout the Hazleton Area, the Expo will take place from 10:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturday, August 11th from 10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
Participants signed up to participate in this year's show include: Carbon Training Center
Comfort Keepers, Galade Financial Services, Hazleton General Hospital, Hazleton Health and Wellness Center, Labor Ready, M.S. Pecora Realtor, Manpower, McCann School of Business, Michael's Taxi, Mountain City Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, PRO Rehabilitation Services, PSECU, Ryan's Wooden Treasures, Saint Luke Village, and Woodforest National Bank.
The Chamber conducts the program as a way of showcasing its member firms and says it provides a unique opportunity for businesses catering to a retail audience. Chamber Marketing Director Leann Scatton notes that "The Business Exposition is one of the few opportunities for these types of businesses to set up shop at the Mall and market to the Mall audience." Scatton says the exposition would not be possible without the cooperation of the Mall merchants and management. The Business and Trade Exposition has been an annual event at the Mall since the mid-1980's. For additional information, contact Ms. Scatton at the Chamber offices at 455-1509 or email lscatton@hazletonchamb.org.
