Special Chamber Breakfast Program to Announce City’s 150th Anniversary Celebration Plans

Mayor Louis Barletta, will host a special Chamber Red Carpet later this month to announce special activities which will take place to help celebrate the City’s 150th celebration. The program is being co-sponsored by First National Community Bank.

Mayor Barletta will discuss the many activities that are thus far planned to help celebrate the City’s anniversary beginning on June 30th and climaxing with the annual Fourth of July events on July 3rd. Joining Mayor Barletta will be members of the City’s 150th Celebration committee which includes chairperson, Sal DeFazio; committee members, Lena Kotansky, Joe Yannuzzi, Donna Palermo, Ed Socha, and Arthur Whitaker.

The program will take place on Friday, June 29th beginning at 8:00 a.m. in the Auditorium of City Hall. Cost of the continental breakfast is $10 per person. In addition to Chamber members, the public is invited to attend. Reservations must be made in advance by calling the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce at 455-1509.
