FREE Easter Photos/Downtown Easter Promotion Announced by Chamber
The Downtown Promotions Committee of the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce announces that there will be free events for the upcoming Easter holiday in Downtown Hazleton. Individuals visiting select businesses throughout the Downtown Area will have an opportunity to guess how many jelly beans are in jars that are placed in the business. A winner who guesses the amount of jelly beans will be provided with a prize of at least $10.00. The winners be announced at a special event on March 31st in the Citiscape Lobby of the Markle Building where FREE photos with the Easter Bunny will be taken for children ages 11 years old and under from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. In addition to the free photos, Printmark Industries will provide each child with a wristband and zipper pull and American Staffing Solutions will provide pencils for each child. Kathy Dobash of Beauty Flower Poem, will also conduct a special activity for the children. The event will take place from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon. Businesses participating in the Downtown Area promotion to date include: ARCIL, Beauty Flower Poem, Capitol Square Diner, Chaskin Jewelers, Cyber Calf, Getzfs Amazing Grace, Hazle Drugs, Hazleton Physical Therapy, Jimmyfs Quick Lunch, Marcfs Tattooing, Metallofs Formal Wear/Spotless Cleaners, Motor Transportation Co., Northeast P.T. Associates, Ryanfs Wooden Treasures, Standard-Speaker, and Vesuvio Pizza & Ristorante. A special advertising promotion will also take place in the Sunday, March 25th Standard-Speaker in cooperation with the downtown promotions event. Call 455-3636 to participate.
