Thanks to the support of participating businesses and sponsoring organizations, nearly one thousand job seekers from throughout the Hazleton Area are expected to attend the Eleventh Annual Hazleton Area Job Fair on Thursday, March 29th at the Best Western Genetti Inn & Suites.

The Job Fair is free to any individual seeking new or improved employment. Full time, part time, and summer jobs will be featured by firms participating in the event.

In addition to providing job seekers with opportunities for new and/or better full time work, the Job Fair will also provide students, and others looking for part time, summer and/or entry level positions with the opportunity to meet with human resource persons from key local businesses and industry.

The event is being sponsored by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce in cooperation with, the Hazleton CareerLink  Sponsoring the day-long program are Luzerne County CareerLinks,  PPL Corporation, the Northeastern Pennsylvania Industrial Resource Center (NEPIRC), Luzerne County Workforce Development Agency, the Standard-Speaker, and ARC Electric. The Schuylkill County and White Haven Chambers are also co-sponsoring the event.

Participating firms will be able to not only meet with prospective employees, but to promote their individual businesses and network with others from the local business community.
