Understanding Basic Financial Statements Topic of Chamber Seminar
A workshop that will cover the basics of creating a winning record keeping system for your business is the latest seminar being coordinated by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce through the assistance of the Small Business Development Center of Wilkes University. Learn the techniques of keeping accurate, timely financial records. Balance sheets, income statements, cash flow and accounts receivable will be explained. Record keeping systems and financial management tools will be discussed along with the accounting issues small business owners need to be aware of. Learn tax issues and strategies to make your business more profitable.
The seminar will take place on Tuesday, March 25th from 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. in the Chamber of Commerce offices, Citiscape, 20 W. Broad Street, Downtown Hazleton. Cost to attend the seminar is $15 for Chamber members and $20 for non-Chamber members.
