Genettifs unveils extended stay suites and a change of name
Ribbon cutting event followed by Chamber mixer

On Thurs., Feb 8, Best Western Genetti Lodge and Ballrooms announced an expansion that has added 12 new extended stay suites, as well as a change of name.

Best Western Genetti Lodge and Ballrooms, a part of the Greater Hazleton business community for many years, will now be known as gBest Western Genetti Inn & Suitesh to better reflect the new room offerings.

Two existing buildings were completed gutted, remodeled and transformed into the 12 new extended stay suites.

Area officials and dignitaries gathered at Genettifs on Thursday to officially cut the ribbon on the new extended stay suites.

The 2-room suites feature a number of amenities that make them less like typical hotel rooms and more like small apartments. Each suite contains a full kitchen, complete with full-size refrigerator, oven, range, microwave oven, dishwasher and garbage disposal. In addition, they offer separate living room and bedroom, full bathroom, ample closet and storage space, high speed Internet access, two TVfs with expanded cable and HBO, and guest laundry on premises for family or business travelers.

Later that same day, 80 area business professionals gather at Memories Lounge at Genettifs for a mixer held by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce. The event was sponsored and hosted by Best Western Genetti Inn & Suites.

The event featured hors dfoeuvres prepared by Genettifs Catering by Gina and an open bar compliments of Genetti Celebrations.

All Chamber members and guests in attendance were invited to tour the new extended stay suites.
