Hazleton Mayor Lou Barletta will present his “State of the City” address at the January 25th Legislative Update Breakfast sponsored by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce and hosted by Keystone National Bank & Trust (KNBT). The program is the first in the Chamber’s legislative update series which will include meetings with the Hazleton Area’s State Representatives, State Senators, the Luzerne County Commissioners and Congressman. The January Red Carpet Breakfast will take place at the Best Western Genetti Motor Lodge beginning at 7:45 a.m. and adjourning at 9:00 a.m. A full breakfast will be served at the upcoming breakfast program at a cost of $15.00 per person, and chamber members and guests who would like to attend should contact the Chamber office at 455-1508 by Tuesday, January 23rd to make a reservation. The Red Carpet programs are conducted monthly by the Greater Hazleton Chamber of Commerce as a way of providing information to the local business community and offering new and expanded business networking opportunities. Traditionally, the first programs of each New Year focus on the community’s political leadership. Other programs are of broader community and business interest.
